Hi! I’m Amelia Wood. My work lives at the intersection of tarot, occult study, and storytelling.

I help people who feel the truth before they can fully name it understand what’s unfolding in their lives and move forward with clarity and agency.

I don’t do fortune telling or spiritual bypassing. Just empowerment.

Tarot is not an inaccessible supernatural mystery. It is a symbolic language that helps us recognize patterns and make conscious choices.

My work is shaped by both intuitive practice and professional discipline.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from New York University, which informs how I work with tarot as a narrative and symbolic system. Story, metaphor, and close reading are central to my practice. I don’t read cards in isolation. I read patterns, context, and subtext.

Alongside my spiritual work, I am a professional project manager, trained to hold complexity, guide processes through uncertainty, and bring structure to situations that feel overwhelming. This background deeply informs how I approach tarot: with clear boundaries, thoughtful organization, and respect for the emotional and energetic labor this work requires.

I also read tarot and facilitate spiritual experiences at in-person events in New York City, where presence, adaptability, and ethical container-holding matter just as much as intuition. Whether working one-on-one or holding space for a room, I approach this work with professionalism and care.

My practice draws from:

  • Deep occult study

  • Ancestral and cultural awareness

  • Narrative and creative thinking

  • Practical, grounded interpretation

These are not separate disciplines. They inform each other.

For me, the key to reading the Tarot is a blend of intuition, story, and skill. I don’t offer spectacle or fortune-telling. I offer clarity, discernment, and a way forward that respects complexity.

A holistic approach to insight

Grounded, Living Spiritual Practice

Tarot has always been part of my life. Growing up in a Mexican-American household, spirituality was woven into the everyday through story, intuition, and ancestral awareness.

After a profound personal awakening in 2017, tarot became my language for understanding patterns, reclaiming agency, and making intentional choices. Today, reading tarot for others is the foundation of my professional work and a service I approach with care, respect, and clear boundaries.

My practice is intuitive, reflective, and grounded. I work with tarot as a mirror and a map, helping people hear what they already sense but may not yet trust.

Begin where you are

You don’t need to be certain, intuitive, or “spiritual enough” to work with tarot.

You only need to be willing to look honestly at what’s unfolding and engage with it thoughtfully.

If you’re at a crossroads, navigating change, or sensing that something wants to shift, tarot can help you name what’s already present and choose how to move forward.

My work is here to support clarity, discernment, and self-trust not answers handed down from above.
